How Many Bookings This Week? Ask Your Business in Plain Words

Ask Maya about bookings, orders, contacts, calls and what customers ask most. She answers from your own Entagl data, with a chart when it helps, and every number on a chart, table or tile must come from a real lookup.

How Many Bookings This Week? Ask Your Business in Plain Words

To find out how many bookings you have this week, ask Maya the way you'd ask a manager; she looks it up in your Entagl account and answers with the number, plus a chart or table when that's clearer. Owners already use AI this way: in the Federal Reserve's 2025 Small Business Credit Survey, 46% of small employer firms said they use AI, and 51% of those use it for planning or analysis. Maya only reads here, and every number on a chart, table or tile has to come from a lookup she ran in that chat.

Maya is the AI business manager inside Entagl. She works for you, not your customers. This guide covers the questions she can answer about your business, and where each number comes from.

What can you ask Maya about your business?

Anything that lives in your Entagl account. The Maya page has the short version; here is the longer one.

Area Try asking What she looks at
Bookings "How many appointments are on this week, by service?" Your Entagl calendar: counts by day, service and status, plus trends
Orders and revenue "Which channel brings the most orders?" Orders recorded in Entagl, by channel and status, with totals and amounts paid
Contacts "How many new contacts did we get last month?" New contacts, customer stage, mood and growth over time
Conversations "What did people ask about most this month?" Conversation counts by channel, top topics, real quotes and full transcripts
Calls "How did yesterday's calls go?" Call history, outcomes and transcripts, if you use Coordinator
Ads "Which Meta ads started conversations?" Conversations that began from your Meta ads
Your setup "How many services do we offer?" An overview of services, products and team

You can name a period ("today", "last week", "this quarter", "the last 90 days") or give exact dates.

Where do the numbers come from?

This is the part worth reading twice, because a number is only useful if you know what it counts.

  • Bookings are the appointments in your Entagl calendar. "How many appointments this week" counts appointments dated this week. Ask how bookings came in over the last month and Maya groups them by the day each one was made. Those are two different questions, so say which one you mean.
  • Statuses are whatever your calendar says: pending, confirmed, awaiting completion, completed, cancelled or no-show. Once an appointment's time passes, it waits for you to mark it completed; if nobody does within 48 hours, Entagl marks it a no-show. So mark completed visits, or your no-show count will be too high.
  • Revenue comes only from orders recorded in Entagl. Sales that live only in your till, card terminal or bank aren't in her numbers. Totals are split by currency, and she can show what was ordered next to what was actually paid.
  • Topics, quotes and moods come from Entagl's analysis of each conversation. Only conversations that have already been analyzed count, so the very newest chats can be missing.
  • Calls come from your Coordinator call records.

What does an answer look like?

Short, with a visual when it helps. The numbers below are an example, not a real business.

You: How many appointments are on this week, by service?

Maya: 23 this week: 11 consultations, 8 cleanings and 4 whitening sessions. 3 are still pending.

(A bar chart of the three services appears under her reply.)

Under a reply, Maya can show number tiles, a bar, line, area or donut chart, a table of up to 20 rows, a highlighted note with a button that opens the right page in the app, or a few next-step buttons. A chart is more convincing than a sentence, so Entagl checks it: every number in a tile, chart or table must appear in what her lookups returned in that chat, or in what you typed. If one doesn't, the card is refused and she has to fetch the real figure or leave it out.

On WhatsApp there are no charts, tables or tiles. You get the key facts in a few short lines of text instead. The WhatsApp guide covers the rest of that side.

Why ask instead of opening a dashboard?

Because the question usually arrives before you have time for a dashboard. When Time etc surveyed 251 US business owners in 2023, they said admin took 36% of an average 45.5-hour week. Asked what they would do with more time, 19% picked analyzing data to make better decisions. Typing "which channel brought the most orders in October?" takes a few seconds to type.

Follow-up questions are where it gets useful. "Which channel brings the most orders?" can lead to "and how many conversations came in from that channel?" and then "show me what people asked about there." If conversations are up and orders aren't, that chain shows you where to start looking, a gap we looked at in Holiday 2026: Traffic Is Up, Orders Aren't.

Can Maya send you these numbers on a schedule?

Yes, through conversation reports, which are off until you turn them on. Maya can tell you what a report is likely to cost first, and switching them on is a card you approve. You can choose:

  1. How often: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, in any combination.
  2. A spending cap: the most credits one report may use.
  3. Languages: up to four per report.
  4. Where it reaches you: in the app, by push notification or by email.

These reports use credits. They are different from the daily briefing, which lists the few things that need you today (a disconnected channel, chats waiting for a person). That one is covered in A Morning Briefing for Your Business.

What can't Maya answer?

Straight answers:

  • Money outside Entagl. Your bookkeeping, bank and card terminal are not connected to her. Revenue means orders recorded in Entagl.
  • Data in other tools, such as your website analytics.
  • The newest chats, for topics and quotes, until they've been analyzed.
  • Changes. Answers are read-only. To book, move or cancel something, see Book, Move and Cancel Appointments by Asking.

One habit makes every answer better: keep your records honest. Mark completed visits, record orders taken by phone, and close the loop on cancellations. If you want to know if your AI employees pay for themselves, these same counts are the raw material; our guide to measuring AI ROI covers which ones matter.

FAQ

Can Maya see sales from my till or bank?

No. Her revenue figures come only from orders recorded in Entagl. Anything that exists only in your till, card terminal or bank account won't appear in her answers.

Does asking Maya questions cost credits?

Chatting with Maya uses credits from your plan, and your first setup chat is free. Scheduled conversation reports also use credits, up to the cap you set for each report.

Will Maya make up a number if she can't find one?

Charts, tables and number tiles are checked against what her lookups returned in that chat. A number that doesn't match is refused, so she has to find the real figure or leave it out. Numbers in her written replies aren't machine-checked the same way, so ask where a figure came from if it looks off.

Can my team ask Maya about bookings and orders?

Yes, if they have access to Maya. The owner, admins and any team member given the Maya privilege can ask her questions.
