Settings · Account

Your personal account: name, email, password, and how you sign in.

Your personal profile, password, and security settings.

Overview

Your user account — your name, email address, password, and the Google or Apple accounts you sign in with. Everything workspace-related is in other tabs; this tab is about YOU, the person logged in.

Features

Profile info

Your name, email, profile photo, and preferred contact methods.

Password

Change your password — or set one for the first time if you signed up with Google or Apple.

Connected accounts

Connect Google or Apple so you can sign in with one tap, or disconnect one you no longer use.

Phone number

Add and verify your mobile number to sign in with a 6-digit SMS code and receive urgent billing alerts by text. Remove it any time — as long as you keep another way to sign in.

Delete account

Permanently delete your user account (keeps the workspace if you're not the sole owner).

Common tasks

Update your account profile

About 1 min
  1. Open the sidebar → Settings → Account.
  2. Edit name, email, or password. Use Delete Account at the bottom if you ever need to close the workspace.

Sign in with Google or Apple

About 1 min
  1. Open the sidebar → Settings → Account and find Connected Accounts.
  2. Press Connect next to Google or Apple and approve the request in the window that opens.
  3. You come back to this page and the account shows as Connected. From now on you can sign in with one tap.

Add a password to a Google or Apple account

About 1 min
  1. Open Settings → Account and press Set a Password in the Security section.
  2. Choose a password and save. You can now sign in either way — the Google or Apple button still works.

Add your phone number

About 1 min
  1. Open Settings → Account and find the Phone number card. Press Add phone number.
  2. Pick your country, type your number and press Send code. We text you a 6-digit code.
  3. Enter the code. The number shows as Verified — from now on you can sign in with a text-message code, and we can text you if a payment fails.

Tips

Use a unique password for Entagl — and store it in a password manager.
Deleting your account cannot be undone.
Keep at least two ways to sign in — for example a password AND Google, or a password AND a verified phone. If only one is left, we stop you from removing it so you never get locked out.
