Your AI agent

AI assistant language

Your agent replies in your customer's language automatically — set your preferences and a fallback.

Allowed languages and the primary fallback.

Overview

Your agent detects each customer's language from their message and replies in it — 100+ languages, no list required. The languages you tick here are a preference, not a gate: they tell the agent which languages you expect, and they set which Arabic dialect it uses. The primary language is the fallback for messages too short to classify — a single emoji, "ok", or just a name.

Features

Allowed languages

The languages you expect your customers to write in. This guides the agent and sets which Arabic dialect it uses (Egyptian, Saudi or Emirati). It is not a hard filter — if a customer writes in a language you haven't ticked, the agent still understands it and replies in it.

Primary language

The language used when the customer's message is too short or ambiguous to classify — an emoji, a single word, a name — and there's no earlier conversation to go on.

Common tasks

Set the languages your agent speaks

About 1 min
  1. Open the sidebar → Configuration → Agent Configuration → General.
  2. Scroll to Languages spoken by AI Agent and tick the languages you expect your customers to use.
  3. Set one of them as the Primary language — it's the fallback for messages too short to classify.
  4. Click Save. The new setting takes effect on the next message.

Tips

Ticking a language doesn't restrict the agent — it can and will reply in others if a customer writes in them. Use the list to tell it which languages you actually expect, and to pick your Arabic dialect.
To keep the agent in one language regardless of what the customer writes, say so explicitly in your agent's instructions. Shortening the list here won't do it — detection runs on every message either way.
