Agent Flow

Visually design how your AI guides customers through a conversation.

Drag-and-drop nodes to design structured conversation paths.

Overview

Agent Flow is a visual editor where you drag and drop steps to design exactly how your AI talks to customers — a decision tree on steroids. Perfect for structured processes like welcoming new customers, qualification, or booking. The AI uses your flow as a loose guide, not a rigid script — it still handles off-topic questions naturally.

Features

Choose which assistant to configure

Open Settings and choose Voice agent or Chat agent. Voice shows only call settings; Chat shows only chat settings, content and custom actions. Save and Discard apply only to the selected assistant.

Flows list

Every flow you've built, with status (active/paused) and which channels use it.

Visual editor

A canvas of nodes (messages, questions, branches, tools, handovers) you connect to design the conversation path.

Test runner

Try your flow in a sandbox chat before going live — saves a ton of debugging.

Triggers

Pick when a flow starts: new conversation, keyword, channel, tag, or any combination.

Conditional branches

Send the conversation down different paths based on customer answers or tags.

Channel pipelines

The start of the pipeline shows an icon for each channel your AI is connected to — WhatsApp, Instagram, your website and so on. Click a channel icon to give that channel its own copy of the pipeline, which you can then customize separately — for example a warmer tone on WhatsApp than on Instagram. Drag a channel icon from one pipeline to another to move it. Deleting a pipeline returns its channels to the main pipeline and saves a snapshot in History, so you can always restore it later.

Common tasks

Create a new flow

About 1 min
  1. Open the sidebar → Work → Agent Flow.
  2. Click New Flow, drag nodes from the palette, and connect them. Each node represents an agent step or tool call.
  3. Hit Test to dry-run, then Publish to make the flow live.

Tips

Start with a simple 3-step flow. Most businesses never need more than 10 nodes.
Flows that are too rigid feel robotic. Leave room for the AI to handle tangents naturally.
New accounts design and manage their assistant on the Agent Builder page instead. If you don't see Agent Flow in your sidebar, look for Agent Builder — it covers the same ground with a simpler setup.
